The experience
Initium opens the doors of its Geneva atelier for an unforgettable mechanical watchmaking experience. Under the guidance of a Master Watchmaker, you discover the secrets of time measurement, disassemble and reassemble a movement, then create a fully personalised watch. Movement, case, dial, hands and strap are chosen from a wide range of high-end components to give birth to a unique timepiece, signed by your own hand.

The day, step by step
Welcome at the Initium atelier
Coffee and croissants, introduction to the history of Geneva watchmaking and presentation of Initium's crafts.
Movement initiation
Disassembly and reassembly of a mechanical movement to uncover the mysteries of gears and the balance wheel.
Designing your watch
Choice of movement (manual or automatic winding), case, dial, hands and strap from over a million possible combinations.
Gourmet lunch
Lunch break in a renowned restaurant with the Master Watchmaker, a privileged moment to discuss the world of watchmaking.
Assembly and finishing
Assembly of chosen components, movement cleaning, timing check and water-resistance test.
Handover of your watch
Final regulation, glass of white wine to celebrate your creation and handover of your unique Swiss made watch.
